A grandfather’s dream. A father’s chapter. A grandson’s fresh beginning.
EST. 1979Created Fatman Squeeze in 1979 and spent years building the brand.
Carried the brand for a chapter of his own, keeping the family connection alive.
Rediscovered the history and recipe, reimagined the brand, and sparked a movement.
In 1979, Roy Sr. created Fatman Squeeze lemonade. He believed in the recipe, believed in the name, and spent years pushing to turn his vision into something that would last.
Eventually, he passed the brand to his son, Roy Jr.
Roy Jr. gave it a chance and carried the business for a time. But every generation has its own calling, and lemonade wasn’t his. His chapter with the brand came to a close. The family’s connection to it remained.
Years later, Roy III discovered that his father and grandfather had been behind a lemonade brand. That discovery changed what he saw in a bottle of lemonade.
He saw his grandfather’s ambition. His father’s part in carrying it forward. And a recipe that connected all three of them.
Intrigued by the history and drawn to the recipe, Roy III decided the story deserved another chapter.
He reimagined Fatman Squeeze with a fresh identity and the energy of a new generation. Through that revival, a family recipe became a movement—giving people something to enjoy while giving the family’s history a future.
Today, Fatman Squeeze carries the names and contributions of three generations: the man who created it, the son who carried it, and the grandson who saw what it could become.
Every bottle is part of a story that began in 1979 and is still being written.
Roy Sr. planted the dream.
Roy Jr. carried it forward.
Roy III gave it new life.
